Gardening Club

The Friends of Chances Park gardening group meets regularly throughout the year to help maintain and improve the park’s gardens and green spaces. Whether you are an experienced gardener or have never picked up a trowel before, you are very welcome to come along. Tasks vary with the seasons and include planting bulbs, sowing wildflower seeds, tending the Georgian garden beds and working with local schoolchildren on planting projects. It is a sociable, rewarding way to spend a few hours outdoors.

Fundraising

Everything we do at Chances Park is made possible by the generosity of our supporters and the hard work of our volunteers. From community events and sponsored activities to grant applications and donations, fundraising plays a vital part in keeping the park looking its best and helping us deliver new projects for the local community. If you would like to help, please get in touch.
